I had the honor of serving in the US Navy from 1988 to 1992. I was deployed in the Gulf War as a Machinist Mate on steam powered ships and am proud of my time representing this great country. I look forward to using the same dedication to job and craft to provide you with the best quality possible from Lyon Sharpening Service.
Training and Education
I believe that the best way to provide top tier service is to invest in the best training and education. I received shear sharpening training with Bonnie Megowan at Bonika Shears, and have been trained on Hira-To Flat Hone Sharpener, Nebraska Blades Clipper Blade Sharpener, and Tormek T8 Water Cooled Sharpening System.
Professional Memberships
Based on training and experience, I also qualify for two important professional groups in the sharpening field. I maintain membership in both the International Scissor Sharpeners Association and the National Beauty Sharpeners Guild.
